If you plant your own baskets, this is the best tenner you will spend on them. The Liner Twins are two 14 inch natural coir liners, each paired with a moisture-mat reservoir layer that sits in the base and hands water back to the compost as it dries.

The coir does what coco liners have always done well - holds the compost, drains predictably, looks properly finished from below, which is where everyone actually sees a basket from. The moisture mat is the quiet upgrade: in high summer it stretches the gap between waterings noticeably.

Cut side slits to plant through the walls for a fuller sphere. A fresh liner each spring keeps old baskets looking new - hence the pair.
